Technology Partners

Olsen Actuation is a strategic partner of the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC), one of Europe’s largest multidisciplinary research organisations. As a result, we have approved access to STFC resources including, for example, “Big data” computing using HP quantum computer and coders, and a virtual reality simulation laboratory.

Our principal drives and automation partner for multi-axis control systems is Beckhoff Automation. This company’s equipment gives exceptional dynamic performance and reliability, it allows flexibility and upgradeability, and offers an extensive set of options and features. Our programmers are among the best in the country and, between them, they have over 50 years experience of working in the Beckhoff TWINCAT programming environment.
